In the interface of WebFuse, there will be a tab where you can build Fuses. A Fuse consists of content written in a wysiwyg-editor, either in plain text or in html. Additionally, the user can map any fields from any entity and its relations from a Dynamics 365 application from a specific Dynamics 365 instance.

You will have the opportunity to interact with his created content by looping on specific content, grouping it, filtering it based on specific conditions and formatting the mapped fields. All these functionalities can be edited in a user-friendly way which is wizard driven.

The result is called a Fuse.

Upon creating a new Fuse, the URL in the webpage consists the ID of the Fuse that you can use for further reference.

The Fuse Tab is the tab where you can create a Fuse or edit an existing Fuse.

Consists of three parts:

  1. Data tree, displaying your Dynamics structure with primary entities, fields, and their relations (1:N, N:1 and N:N)

  2. HTML editor in the middle (wysiwyg)

  3. The settings. Settings can be for mappings, general settings (select your record), field inspector and extended functionalities.

Data Tree - Select Dynamics 365 application, entity and field

Map fields from a specific entity from your preferred Dynamics 365 application straight into the content of your website. The Dynamics entity tree is placed next to the wysiwyg editor to facilitate mapping fields.

This fetches the Dynamics Database and puts it in a tree format so that it can easily be followed by end-users. It consists of all the primary entities, where you can see the fields, the fields that refer to an underlying relationship are expandable/collapsible, and you see the corresponding fields there. Relationships can be a 1:N, N:1 and N:N. It displays the logical names of the fields and you can toggle between the logical names and the schema names.

Fields can be mapped by double-clicking on the field, where it gets automatically mapped on the cursor place in the html builder. Alternative is drag ‘n drop.
