Formatting can be done on the mapped fields and appear in the pane of the settings of a field.
Formatting can be either a currency, number, date, percentage, barcode.
You can set the formatting of a Reference field. This can be Text, Currency, Number, Date, Time, Percentage, Barcode, Image. By default, all fields are treated as text.
See screens – they are only to use as an example, the specific fields are described below and should be styled as in the bottom screen in the sidebar.
Currency:
- Locale (all supported)
- Symbol (all currencies supported)
- Where is the symbol located, in front or after the number
- How many decimal places
- Do you want to use a 1000 seperator (this is also depending on the locale)
Number:
- Locale (all supported)
- How many decimal places
- Do you want to use a 1000 seperator (this is also depending on the locale)
Date:
- Locale (all supported)
- Type (most common formats - see below)
Time:
- Locale (all supported)
- Type (most common formats - see below)
Percentage:
- Locale (all supported)
- How many decimal places
- Do you want to use a 1000 separator (this is also depending on the locale)
Image:
- Set width (by default the inherited width). Input field
- Set height (by default the inherited height). Input field
- Lock ratio. Checkbox
- Alt text. Input field
